Elmtree House, Newton-Le-Willows

One big family, a home from home.

The Front of Elmtree House Care Home, Newton-Le-Williows

Elmtree House is a comfortable, homely conversion of an Edwardian redbrick villa on the quieter outskirts of Newton-le-Willows. It is set in its own modest grounds just a short walk or drive from the centre of town and is easy to reach by public transport.

This is a small residential care ‘family’ home, we can accommodate only 20 full-time residents which can include people who require EMI care here in Merseyside.

As a private residential home we can and do offer the personal touch, Care staff are on hand 24 hours a day, and you can talk to the Manager or the Owner directly if you wish.  At Elmtree House we understand the meaning of ‘person centred’ care; independence and individuality are respected, and the safety and comfort of residents are the prime considerations of everyone working here.

Our EMI Care Services

At Elmtree House, we provide specialised care for residents with Elderly Mentally Infirm (EMI) needs, including those living with dementia and related conditions. Our compassionate team is trained in dementia care, ensuring each resident receives personalised support that respects their individuality and promotes well-being.

We offer a variety of engaging activities tailored to stimulate memory and encourage social interaction, such as crafts, musical sessions, and gentle exercises. Our environment is designed with safety in mind, featuring secure gardens, clear signage, and adapted facilities to ensure comfort and reduce confusion.

Family involvement is integral to our approach. We collaborate closely with families in care planning, ensuring transparency and consistency in meeting each resident’s needs. Regular updates and open communication help families stay connected and involved in their loved one’s care journey.

At Elmtree House, a 24-hour care home, we strive to create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where residents with EMI needs can thrive.
